Introduction:

• We would like to introduce ourselves as one of the leading bakers and confectioners in the city of Coimbatore, India since 1935.

• Our bakery JM Breads Pvt Ltd is a modern centralized baking facility situated at JM Baking Centre, Vadavalli, Coimbatore 641046.

• We market our products through 50 of our JM cakes shops, Hospitals, Armed Forces and Educational Institutions.

• Ours is a Model Industry in Small Scale Sector for Baking.

In-plant Training:

• We also train students from Institute of Hotel Management in the field of Baking and Confectionery.

• Many of them are well placed in Star Hotels, Large bakeries, Shipping lines, Flight kitchens and bakeries abroad.

Professional Bakery training:
There is a great demand for qualified bakers in countries like Australia, Canada, UK and neighbouring countries in East Asia, Africa. Hence in order to provide training in bakery for those interested in learning the Art and Science of Baking and for the students going abroad for higher studies as well as skilled labour, we have designed a Professional Bakers Programme. This is ideal for overseas bakers also to refresh their baking skills and update the new technologies in baking.

The programmed will be in 5 modules:

1. Variety Breads:

White Bread, French Bread, Whole Wheat, Multigrain, Cinnamon loaf etc.

2. Bakery snacks:

Filled Buns, Puff Pastry, Danish Pastry, Croissants, Donuts, Pizzas, Sandwiches, Indian snacks like Samosas, Pav Baji, Chat items etc.

3. Variety cakes:

Fat less Sponge cake, Pound cakes, Date & Walnut, Fruit Cakes, Cup cakes. Decorated cakes like Black Forest, Pineapple gateaux. Mousses, Puddings etc.

4. Sugar Confectionery:

Marzipans, Jellies, Marshmallows, Chocolates & Sugar flowers.

5. Seminar classes:

Food safety, Food laws, Bakery management, and Marketing of Bakery products.

The students will be producing the above products in the morning time and will work in our bakery in the afternoon so that they become confident in handling large batches of breads and cakes as they are expected to do in other Bakeries Abroad.

The students are allowed to take photographs of the products they make for the final certification.

The students will learn Australian as well as American cake decorating methods, Swiss confectionery, and Chocolate Technology from USA.

Certification:

The trade certificate will be issued only after final examination where students have to produce variety goods. Our trade certificate unlike any other educational certificate which is more valuable since the overseas employers look for their performance in baking.

The duration of the course will be for 1 Month.

The courses will commence every 1 day of the Month.

Other Expenses:

During the course, insurance is compulsory which has to be born by the student.
